Andesa Services is a third-party COLI and BOLI policy administration company that processes approx. 3 TB of business-critical data on a daily basis. Investigated problems reported by division managers, designed and implemented solutions: reduced daily cycle times by identifying and eliminating data bottlenecks in the production code base; automating interfaces and adding notifications/escalations to better meet SLA’s; added automated system metrics for SAS70 auditing requirements and supported the IT operations team with automated backups, server maintenance and server and process monitoring/reporting systems. Developed automated interfaces between admin calculations engine and the data mart, illustration system and user data feeds. This was my intro to IT security: CEH certification received in 2006. Received approval for and built in-house hacker lab. Discovered and investigated WiFi security policy breaches. Investigated products for application SDLC unit testing. Performed penetration tests prior to third-party audit required tests.
